실직상태의 노숙자 리스를 채용하는 핀사장님. 근데 핀치라고 부르라고 할 때 무슨 생각이 들었을까 엄청 작고 참새같은 새인데 잘 어울린다고 생각했을 듯.

첫번째 요주의 인물(person of interest) Diane Hansen. 본인에겐 믿을만 한 정보가 있고 예측되는 범죄를 막을 수 있다며 리스를 설득하지만 핀치의 경호원 두명을 후려치고 떠난다.

But it was seeing all sorts of crimes.
So I had to teach the machine to divide the things it saw into two lists: Relevant and irrelevant.
Events that would cause massive loss of life were relevant.
So those would be passed along to the NSA or the FBI.
